Weekly Photos - Feb 22 - 28

Well as you can see I missed taking photos on the 22nd and 23rd. I hide my face in shame. To add insult to injury, none of the photos will make you stand up and shout this week. Wait, I take that back. They actually might make you stand up and shout..."why did I waste my time looking at this slop." Thank goodness today is a new month.

- Kitchen mess. But I love the stand mixer.

- Train stop at Goose Hollow. Check out the Warning Trains sign in the upper right corner.

- Partial Dashboard confessional. I took this while sitting at the stop light. Love the cherry tree.

- Running a quick errand with Noah, who is still in his pj's. Shhhh. Don't tell his mom.

- The Wild West rides again...or at least dances again.

Photo of the Day - Jan 10-16

I am learning a lot with this project. The first thing is I don't know the first thing about real photography. Here's to hoping I am a bit better by the end of the year.

Jan 10th - Noah with his Froggy galoshes

Jan 11th - Our little blue microwave [my mom gave this to me as a college graduation president. Ten years later it is still going strong. Truly the gift that keeps on giving. Thanks Mum]

Jan 12th - A new pillow Emily picked up this week

Jan 13th - Decorative Olive Oil bottles on the back of our stove

Jan 14th - Light Rail train whizzing by. Taken the evening after work

Jan 15th - Waiting for a ride. Scenes from the train stop.

Jan 16th - My left eye. While I did not take this photo, the dr. did, I include it just because...well it's cool.

365 minus 7

So today I saw a pretty cool idea on a blog I read from time to time. They are attempting to take a photo a day for all of 2010. So being the theif that I am, I too am going to attempt a photo a day for the remainder of 2010. [Wish me luck...I tend to get distracted fairly quickly]

The photos will be completley random. No theme, no message, just something that catches my eye that day.

After work today I asked Noah what he wanted to do. His answer was the same as yesterday, and the day before, and the 5 months worth of days before that, "Play with my train". Well we quicky got busy building a track to do what Noah loves best. Playing trains. He is a train boy through and through. I think if my job was that of a conductor he would consider me the luckiest of fellows. Ya know what? I'll let you on a little secret. I am not sure who loves playing trains more...me or him.
